Gideon Academy builds on character
We believe true education includes building our student's moral character along with their academic knowledge. We are told in Proverbs 1:7,
"Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge..."
At Gideon Academy we help each student with individualized curriculum that incorporates God's Word in every subject. This is a great approach, because it allows each student to work at their learning capacity and their zone of proximal development.

Easy, fill out the registration forms, your student takes a placement test, and then their curriculum is ordered to fit their learning plan.
We help students grow strong and prepare for success
Gideon gives students ages 9-17 yrs the opportunity to compete in many categories such as, music, drama, academics, sports, art, etc. competing with Christian schools across the USA and the world.
Beyond Classroom
Our staff is made up of Christians following the "call" of God. They are trained and qualified through ACEs Supervisor Workshops in using the individualized curriculum.
Our Staff is led by our Administrator Carlos Zepeda who reports to our School President, Pastor and Retired USMC Vet, Aniceto "Gunny" Hernandez

Gideon Academy began in 2007. It is rooted in the foundation of American Education that God must be included in every part of our lives. Since the birth of our school, it has been helping students and their families continue to develop and maintain trust in God for their education. Gideon is now a ministry of Christ Centered Church Bakersfield, Inc.
